C. Mason Weaver Endorsed By Nation’s Largest Minority PAC
C. Mason Weaver was endorsed today by Black America’s Political Action Committee (BAMPAC), the nation’s largest minority PAC.
Alvin Williams, President and CEO of BAMPAC, stated, “BAMPAC is pleased to support Mason Weaver’s candidacy in California’s 53rd Congressional District. We believe that his vigilant protection of American interests and individual freedoms, and his for a return to financial responsibility, are common sense strategies that will serve our country well.”
Williams further stated that once elected to Congress, “Weaver will be a voice to “effectively and eloquently communicate” vital issues that are affecting Americans today.
“I am proud and honored to once again receive the confidence and support of BAMPAC,” said Weaver. “The organization represents a formidable political base that actively seeks to educate the public on vital issues, as well as promote democracy at home and abroad.”
The primary mission of BAMPAC is to support African American candidates at the local, state and federal level who “advocate a common sense approach” to addressing America’s political issues. Its donor base exceeds 130,000 contributors, with more than $1.6 million raised for various political candidates.
Weaver also received the endorsement of BAMPAC in 2000, when he ran for the California Assembly.
