“Concerned Women Political Action Committee Endorses Community Activist and Conservative Talk Show Host Mason Weaver for Congress in California’s 53rd Congressional District

Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) has announced its endorsement of Mason Weaver for Congress in California’s 53rd Congressional District.

Concerned Women PAC is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.

The current Congresswoman is Susan Davis who is running for her 6th term in office. Rep. Davis’s rating with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) is poor, having voted against the CWALAC position 82 times with over 100 votes cast. Since the beginning of the 111th Congress, Susan Davis has voted against every CWALAC position. She has a 100 percent voting record with Nancy Pelosi and the Liberal House leadership. Consider:
· Rep. Davis recently voted against the Stupak Amendment which would have prohibited coverage for abortions by insurance companies.
· She also voted in favor of the over all government take-over of health care, which many predict will leave our children with even more debt while causing our insurance premiums to sky rocket long term.
· Susan Davis also voted in favor of the omnibus bill which included an increase of $10 million for Title X funding with the bulk of those taxpayer dollars going to Planned Parenthood. The omnibus bill also gave $103 million to international “family planning” organizations, in effect forcing the American taxpayer to indirectly promote and fund abortions abroad.

“Mason Weaver is a man of strong conviction and of deep faith who understands the problems facing this country,” said Beverly LaHaye, founder and chairman of Concerned Women PAC.

“As a veteran of our armed services, Mason is much more in step with the strong patriotic military community in his district. But he is so much more than that. Mason is a personal friend of mine and someone I know will go to Washington for such a time as this, get the job done and come home for his next assignment.
I strongly endorse Mason Weaver.”

Concerned Women Political Action Committee was started in 2002 to help elect solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. Concerned Women PAC sends out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Mason Weaver.
