Independence Caucus Endorses C. Mason Weaver for Congress
SAN DIEGO – After an extensive vetting process, the Independence Caucus has chosen to endorse C. Mason Weaver for Congress in California’s 53rd District. Weaver received 80% of the votes in a runoff with his opponent, Michael Crimmins, who received 20%. The candidate with the lowest amount of votes, Matt Friedman, was eliminated from the final vote.
“We here at the Independence Caucus are proud to announce our endorsement of this great and principled candidate,” stated a release from the organization. “C. Mason Weaver … has been speaking of the growth of government and the loss of our personal freedoms for 20 years. He has now decided to take the People’s message to Washington. He asked the question, ‘Had enough yet?’ and the answer is yes!”
The Independence Caucus has hundreds of volunteers nationwide who have actively joined in a mission to uncover “Big Money” interest groups and the politicians who are compromised through their benefits. The group works to replace those politicians with ones they feel will better represent their communities.
“The Independence Caucus represents everything right about how active-minded citizens should mobilize to influence their government,” said Weaver. “I am thankful and proud to have their endorsement.”
